Tasting notes
The 2020 Pouilly-Fuissé has a perfumed, quite mineral-driven nose with crushed granite and touches of white flower, opening nicely in the glass. The palate is well balanced with a fine bead of acidity, good concentration with touches of white peach and apricot on the finish. I admire the cohesion and focus here. Very fine. Tasted blind at the BIVB Mâconnais tasting.

The 2020 Pouilly-Fuissé (Maison Louis Jadot) is pretty, wafting from the glass with scents of white flowers, citrus zest and musky peach. Medium to full-bodied, satiny and precise, it's nicely concentrated, with bright acids and a saline finish.
About the producer

Louis Jadot is arguably the most consistent négociant house in Burgundy. It has managed to straddle both the entry-level and fine wine market, while retaining respect in both.
