Score 93/100 · Drink 2024-2031, Antonio Galloni, Vinous, Aug 2023
The 2019 Syrah Brosseau is a powerful, dense wine. Black cherry, scorched earth, leather, game, licorice and tobacco infuse the Brosseau with tons of brooding intensity. This is an especially savory, mineral-driven style, with the fruit pushed to the background.

The 2019 Syrah Brosseau is compact and savory on the nose with graphitic earth, Kalamata olive, and blackberry. The palate is also compact and full of meaty richness, with black plum, tobacco, and turned earth. Hold a few years and drink over the next 8-10 years.
