Bright, deep red. Pretty aromas of red fruits and flowers, with a complicating meaty nuance. Tightly wound and pure; less fleshy and much more closed than the Combe aux Moines, but perfumed and lively. This will depend more on its chewy, ripe tannins than on its fairly low acids for longevity in bottle.
