Tasting notes
Crafted solely from Cabernet grapes, the 2020 Walla Walla Valley Cabernet Sauvignon embodies an open-knit texture and the unmistakable aromas and essences of Walla Walla. It has an open and accessible character that's ready for action or food. While the pH may be slightly more elevated for my preference, it still offers plenty of pleasure and will surely age past its 10th birthday. This wine was aged for 21 months in 60% new French oak barrels. 225 cases produced.

The 2020 Cabernet Sauvignon Walla Walla Valley has more plum and darker currant-like fruits as well as smoked tobacco, gravelly earth, and graphite aromatics. It has good concentration, but it’s certainly a more foursquare, firm example of this cuvée. Give bottles 2-4 years to let the tannins integrate and to show a touch more elegance. It's going to have a solid two decades of longevity.
