Peach and nut butter aromas. Ripe and sweet for 2004 village wine but with good precision and fresh acidity. The fruit-driven flavors of orange and peach shade to lime on the back end. The '05 version is creamier and comes across as longer, notes Thierry Matrot, but it's less citric and brisk in character.

Scented. Slightly heavy nose. Lots of acidity. Slightly coarse and quite a bit of texture! Crunchy. Only for the brave. (JR)

Fruity, pure aromas of orange and oatmeal. Supple, pure and ripe, with a lovely sugar/acid balance. Should make a very good, and very typical, village Meursault.
