Tasting notes
The vines that produced the 2016 Zinfandel Dusi Vineyard were planted in 1945 in an ancient creek bed, and their alluvial composition distinguishes them from the other limestone-based sites Turley works within Paso Robles. Wafting from the glass with notes of blackberries, ripe cherries and loamy soil, the wine is full-bodied, velvety and charming, with a deep core of succulent fruit, supple tannins and mouthwatering acids, concluding with a long finish. Of all of Turley's 2016 Zinfandels, this might be the most immediately seductive.

A classic Paso Robles Zinfandel, the 2016 Dusi Vineyard is bold, powerful and voluptuous. Dark cherry and plum fruit fill out the wine's ample frame effortlessly. Scents of lavender, spice and new leather develop in the glass, adding further character and nuance. Creamy and expansive, the Dusi is a real joy to taste today.
