Tasting notes
The 2015 Riesling Sélection de Grains Nobles is concentrated but also pure and spicy on the nose. Rich yet precise on the palate, this is a stimulating saline and savory SGN with remarkable energy and tension. It's a gorgeous wine that was bottled with 10.5% stated alcohol plus 128 grams of residual sugar and filled into 375-milliliter bottles. Tasted at the domaine in April 2024.

This is a wondrous sweet wine that shows mango pie, white truffles, dried honeysuckle, peach compote, dried citrus and flint. Full-bodied and incredibly sweet and oily, yet agile and elegant. Then, suddenly, and almost without explanation, it turns salty on the finish. The combination of linearity, drive, finesse and sheer power blows your mind. Selling now is 2010 vintage. Drink now or hold for a very long time.
