Tasting notes
Ripe pears, honeyed lemon, spice, and brioche notes all emerge from the 2019 Chardonnay Hawk Hill Vineyard, a lively, medium-bodied, balanced Sonoma Coast Chardonnay that has a beautiful sense of purity as well as minerality. It opens up nicely with time in the glass and will have 5-6 years of bottle age.

The 2019 Chardonnay Hawk Hill Vineyard opens slowly to beeswax, dried white flowers, crushed shell and lemon cream aromas. The palate is light-bodied, silky and mineral driven with bright, yeasty fruits and a long, perfumed finish.
The 2019 Chardonnay Hawk Hill is a pretty, airy and bright wine. Citrus peel, dried flowers, spice and chamomile are some of the notes that grace this exquisite, understated Chardonnay from Freeman. This is an especially nervy style, but there is plenty of California richness too.
