Score 94/100 · Drink 2023-2030, Erin Brooks, Wine Advocate, Oct 2023

The 2008 Cabernet Sauvignon Sonoma Valley comes from Sonoma Valley (65%) and Moon Mountain District (35%). It was blended with 6% Merlot and matured for 24 months in 100% new oak. It has a deep garnet color and complex aromas of bitter chocolate, licorice, iron, soy, sage and an impressive core of Morello cherry. It must have been particularly powerful in youth, as it maintains abundant, grainy tannins, an impressive core of juicy fruit and a long, savory finish. Drink this beautiful, mature Cabernet over the next 5-8 years. 273 cases were made.
