Light ruby. Fresh, curranty nose. Very vivacious and nicely mellow. I could imagine enjoying this already. (JR)

Pale rim. Unusually among the Haut-Médoc 2008s, this has already developed a little aromatic interest. Light fresh wine with decent balance even if it will never set the world on fire. (JR)

Soft, round, sweet red and black currant fruit intermixed with herb, damp earth and spice characteristics are present in this supple-textured, easygoing, medium-bodied 2008. Enjoy it over the next 6-8 years.
About the producer

Chasse Spleen
If there’s one Moulis estate you know, it is likely Chasse-Spleen, today owned by the Foubet family. Vines have been planted here since the 16th century, and today it has an impressive 100 hectares to its name.
