Full bottle 1,368 g. Mid-transparent ruby. Fully mature and resolved tannins but with characteristic tang. Could only be top-quality Sangiovese! This is not one of their famous single-vineyard bottlings but is still delicious. This seems to appeal much more than the Riserva 1996 tasted at 10 years old! Perhaps I was just rushing my pleasures ...? (JR)
