Score 89/100 · Drink 2015-2019, Robert Parker, Oct 2015
The 2013 Proprietary Red The Prisoner, which represents 70,000 cases of a blend of Zinfandel, Cabernet Sauvignon, Petite Sirah, Syrah and, of all things, Charbono, is just loaded with fruit and could well be called a black cherry and black currant fruit bomb, with some charcoal, pepper, underbrush and forest notes also making an appearance. It is medium to full-bodied, deep, dense ruby in color, and very satisfying and hedonistic. Drink it over the next 3-4 years.
