Full bottle 1,270 g. Plum, berry, cinnamon, jam, fig. Long, rich and very primary, but there’s tar and petrichor giving it a savoury foundation. Aniseed and medicinal notes, too. There’s lots going on here, and that opulent fruit is well-matched by a complex and lengthy aftertaste. (RH)
Full bottle 1,215 g. Medium ruby with a hint of purple. Sweet nose with plump black fruit, bramble, spice and a touch of vanilla: classic. Warming and smoothly textured with round tannins and elevated acidity. Rich. (SCJ)
