Tasting notes
Full 1-litre bottle 1,407 g (thus relatively light). Comes under the Nat' Cool brand. Typically Mediterranean climate in the subregion of Vidigueira, where the climatic conditions are the most temperate of Alentejo. Poor land, predominantly of granite and schist. Perrum, Rabo de Ovelha and Manteúdo. TA 6.3 g/l, pH 3.2. Fermented in clay pots with no temperature control using indigenous yeasts and with no addition or correction of must. Two months of skin contact in the amphora. Smells zippy and fresh with aromas of citrus, green fruits and very slightly floral. On the palate, light bodied, super-fresh and very easy to drink. A nicely dusty aspect to the texture giving it greater complexity on the finish, while the fruit is pure and clean-cut. A big bottle of bone-dry refreshment with very moderate alcohol. Likely to be GV . (JH)
