While the 2003 Chardonnay Estate was holding up pretty well, the 2003 Pinot Noir Estate is getting a bit long in the tooth, offering up a chocolaty bouquet of dried fruit and soil that reveals the first suggestion of oxidation, followed by a medium-bodied, tertiary palate.

Medium red. Pure framboise on the nose. Rich, broad and fruit-driven but not overly sweet. Very ripe, soft wine with adequate acidity. Could use a bit more nuance and grip.
