Score 94/100 · Jeb Dunnuck, Dec 2017
The entry-level red is the 2014 Cabernet Sauvignon Classic Cuvee and it spent 20 months in 40% new French oak. Its deep ruby/purple color is followed by a classy, balanced red that offers lots of crème de cassis, black cherry, toasty oak and spice aromas and flavors. It's full-bodied, has beautiful purity of fruit, ripe tannin and a great finish, all making it a downright sumptuous, delicious Cabernet that's going to keep for 15+ years. Unfortunately, there are only 16 barrels produced. These terrific wines are made by the up and coming Sarah Vandenreissche and show classic, elegant profiles that are going to age beautifully.
