Transparent ruby. Liquorice and great density. Dry finish with some vibrato on the mid palate. A nice package, so long as you don’t object to bone-dry wines that still have a fair amount of tannin, even after five years! (JR)

CS Pretty volatile. Very sweet and rather oak dominated. Doesn’t seem quite as echt as the Durnad example – a bit flashier. But well made and of interest to those who like their Cornas in a modern idiom. Very drying finish. (JR)
