Made from 60% Semillon and 34% Sauvignon Blanc. Delicate nose of honeyed citrus fruit, lemon and tarragon. Tangy fruit on the palate with lively acidity and concentration of citrus oils, dried herbs, crushed rocks and a core of sweet lemon. Wonderfully long and vibrant. Apr 2016

Reminding me of Sauvignon Blanc from the Loire (I actually wrote it would kick the hell of a bottle of Silex from Dagueneau, which is a wine I love), the 2015 Grand Village (Lafleur) Blanc gives up vibrant notes of green herbs, crushed citrus, lime, and a liquid rock-like minerality. It’s fresh and vibrant, with terrific density, medium body, and racy acidity that’s perfectly balanced by the wine’s density and extract. This is a beautiful Sauvignon!
The 2015 Blanc gives up lovely scents of lemongrass and fresh grapefruit with hints of chalk dust, lime blossoms and mandarin peel. Medium-bodied, very citrusy and fresh in the mouth, it's seriously minerally with chalky and saline notes, finishing with great persistence.

The Société Civile du Ch. Lafleur is the collective name for the Guinaudeau family’s wines and estates. These are some of the Right Bank’s most famous wines, including Ch. Lafleur and Les Pensées in Pomerol, along with Les Perrières, Les Champs Libres and Ch. Grand Village in Fronsac.
