Score 92/100 · Drink 2016-2023, Robert Parker, Apr 2016
The beautiful 2010 Chardonnay Dutton Ranch is young, the first vintage where Patz & Hall began using their embossed/engraved bottle for their wines. Terrific notes of honeysuckle, orange blossom, tangerine oil and pear jump from the glass of this elegant, crisp, full-bodied wine with dazzling fruit purity, full-bodied texture and a long finish. This should drink nicely for another 5-7 years.

Subdued aromas of green melon and minerals complicated by a leesy suggestion of hazelnut. Fat, tactile and rich, but with firm acidity and underlying minerality leavening the wine's sweetness and energizing the mid-palate. Nicely rich and savory wine.
