2005 Pinot Noir McCrone Vineyard

The 2005 Pinot Noir “McCrone Vineyard” falls on the dark fruit side of the spectrum both aromatically and on the palate. It has a plush presence in the mouth, superb balance, and a long, firm finish. Give it 6-8 years and drink it through 2030. Ken Wright has a Syrah/Claret project under the Tyrus Evans label. The fruit is sourced from southern Oregon and eastern Washington. I tasted four wines, all of them outstanding.
