Tasting notes
The 2015 Cabernet Sauvignon (Spring Mountain) is ripe, forward and juicy, all qualities that can be enjoyed upon release. The flavors are dark and bold in this decidedly sumptuous Spring Mountain Cabernet from Barnett.

Blended of 84% Cabernet Sauvignon, 12% Merlot and 4% Cabernet Franc, the deep garnet-purple colored 2015 Cabernet Sauvignon Spring Mountain District opens with a cassis, plums and black cherries nose with cedar, dried roses and black soil hints plus a touch of charcuterie. There are plenty of baked berries and earthy layers in the full-bodied mouth, with a chewy backbone and savory finish.
The nose here shows lots of peppermint, resin, mocha, sage and eucalyptus – a little too much menthol. Medium to full body, smooth tannins and a slightly high-octane finish. A blend of 84% cabernet sauvignon, 12% merlot and 4% cabernet franc. Drink now.
