Tasting notes
Magnum. Deep dark ruby. Very intense on the nose. Lots of intensity and massive fruit density pretty much overwhelms the vintage’s high acidity. Pretty dry and not there yet but the balance is better than many 2008s. (JR)

Racy, lacy, sweet and still a bit painful but I think it will get there eventually. Just a bit chewy on the end. Rather raw fruit at the moment. Also tasted 11 Jan 2010. Score 17.5. Drink 2012-20: Rich on the nose but pretty light and tart on the palate. As though the malo were still going on. Pretty tough but very long and reverberant. (JR)
