50% Grenache, 20% Syrah, 20% Cinsault and 10% Tibouren from 20-year-old vines planted at a density of 4,000 per hectare in deep clay soils with a high percentage of limestone. Harvest was by both hand and machine, followed by a long, cold fermentation in stainless-steel tanks. Winemaker François Matton. TA 3.22 g/l , pH 3.6, RS 0.51 g/l . Vegan. Natural cork. Bottle weight 700 g. Available in up to 200 shops. Sweet palate entry. Good fruit and some tension but not quite enough interest. Silly bottle weight. (JR)
