(Sweet Spot)<br /> (from a .70 ha parcel, most of which are 80+ year old vines). This is aromatically quite similar to the Echézeaux with perhaps more tea influence. Here too the mouthfeel of the medium weight flavors is utterly gorgeous and with more evident minerality that adds a sense of lift to the firm, robust and muscular finish. This is excellent but decidedly serious so it’s a wine that’s going to demand extended patience. With that said, if you can find it, buy it as it should be great in time.
