2023 Echezeaux

Nicole Lamarche’s one hectare of Echezeaux sits in the south of the appellation, right next to Les Suchots. The resulting wine is expressive on the nose, with a concentrated mass of crunchy red berries and more delicate florals. The sweet, ripe fruit plays beautifully with Lamarche’s trademark razor-sharp acidity. It’s a wine with lovely complexity – the lively and juicy palate building gradually to offer darker fruit, evolving and working through various layers. The balance is striking. A lovely Echezeaux.
