Very feral and funky on the nose. Meat, dark chocolate, leather and garrigue on the palate, with the typical dryness of Cornas, although the tannins are very much ready to drink. It's savoury and tightly furled, yet there is drinkable primary black fruit to go with those digestible tannins. (RH)

Dark crimson. Two-day-old sample shows a bit of VA but there is masses here. Thick and racy and meaty. Solid! (JR)
