The medium ruby colored 2019 Pinot Noir Ferrington Vineyard is rustically styled this vintage. It has alluring scents of red cherries with earthy nuances of forest floor, woodsmoke, mushrooms, tobacco and moss. The medium-bodied palate is earthy and savory in character and stands out among the Arista portfolio—it is perhaps not the best bottle.

The 2019 Pinot Noir Ferrington is resinous with medicinal herbs, black cherry fruit, and beet root. The palate is full and rounded with forward fruit, leading into savory notes of raspberry seed, wooded spice, and red plum skin. More structured in style, allow for a year or two in bottle and drink over the following 15 or so years.
The 2019 Pinot Noir Ferrington Vineyard is marred by gamy, animal notes that overpower the fruit. Hard contours are impossible to ignore. This is just not pleasant.
