Tasting notes
Located below the St Helena hospital on Glass Mountain, Chabot has been a consistent source of excellent Beringer Cabernet Sauvignon for close to four decades. The 2021 Cabernet Sauvignon Chabot Vineyard features a mix of red and black cherries dressed up by subtle garnishes of sage and bay leaf. Full-bodied and concentrated, it's richly tannic without being hard, with a long, layered finish. It should be approachable within a few years or could easily be cellared up to 20 years.

The 2021 Cabernet Sauvignon Chabot Vineyard is superb. Inky dark red fruit, blood orange, iron, graphite and lavender infuse the palate with tremendous depth. This site on Glass Mountain yielded a heady Cabernet that mixes unctuous fruit with strong mineral inflections.
