Mid crimson. Nicely evolved but far from dead. Lots of complexity and freshness. I’m not sure I’d pick this as anything other than Bordeaux blind. Clean, dry but a bit timid and starting to dry out – as are 1989 bordeaux! Well done. Lovely on the nose. (JR)
