2020 Beaujolais Chenas Quartz

Full bottle 1,313 g.  Crushed pine needles on the nose. Spicy, tight tannins but not at all drying. They're beautifully choreographed, seeming to hold the luminous dark fruit, lightly, in a helical grip. An underlying note of something stony and intense, like crushed black marble and graphite. Long and fine and fluted. (TC)
