Medium red. Slightly high-toned aromas of cherry, plum and minerals. Rich, dense, broad and deep, with flavors of red fruits and smoke. Finishes with rich tannins and excellent length. This has turned out well.

(less than halfway through its malo) Medium red. Spice and game dominate the nose. Fat and spicy, with softish acids and red berry flavors. A bit less vibrant than the Gevrey villages, and a tad dry on the end. Hard to assess at this stage.
