Tasting notes
A monopole in Serralunga acquired in the early 1980s (Asili one year later). An amphitheatre that faces south to south-west. The Falletto bottling comes from 20- to 40-year-old vines in the bottom part. 10,000 bottles made. Bottled July 2023. To be released February 2024. Transparent crimson. Lightly pungent again – like Rabajà 2020 – plus lightly floral. Sweet and rich and very flattering. Long and by no means simple. More fruit than tannin at this early stage. (JR)
