Tasting notes
The 1980 Cabernet Sauvignon Signature is a blend of 90% Cabernet Sauvignon and 10% Merlot with a pale to medium brick color. Wow—the nose gives stunning rose hip tea, dried lavender and kirsch notes with a core of blackberry preserves and crème de cassis plus wafts of charcuterie and cigar box. The palate is medium to full-bodied, incredibly opulent and jam-packed with perfumed black fruits and savory layers, finishing very long and beautifully minerally.
