2019 Luis Pato Vinhas Velhas Tinto

A blend of old-vines Bical on chalky clay, Cerceal and Sercialinho on sandy soil. Unoaked. Very young and embryonic but already showing depth and length even if the citrus and peachy fruit is all primary. Lovely precision and freshness on the palate, more rounded on the finish, just needs a little longer in the bottle to gain some complexity and mesh further. This wine usually ages well. (JH)
