1961 Glenlossie 46yo, G&M Rare Old (43%)

Single malt releases from the Speyside-based Glenlossie are a rarity as the vast majority of its output has historically been consigned to blends – making this very aged independent bottling from Gordon & Macphail all the more interesting. Distilled in 1961, this single malt spent almost five decades slumbering in a refill Sherry hogshead before it was bottled. It’s a wonderfully rare gem.
