Score 95/100 · Drink 2022-2042, Jeb Dunnuck, Jan 2019

Made from 100% Cabernet Sauvignon, the 2015 Cabernet Sauvignon Estate is slightly more classic Cabernet Sauvignon with its crème de cassis, cedar pencil, potpourri, and dried flowers. Full-bodied, deep, rich and layered, with beautiful purity, building structure, and a great finish, it needs another 3-4 years of bottle age to hit prime time and will keep for two decades or more. Bure Family Wines was started in 2006 with the release of two wines, one a Bordeaux blend from To Kalon and Missouri Hopper, and the other a straight Cabernet Sauvignon from their estate vineyard, which sits next to Vineyard 29. The first few vintages were made by Luc Morlet, with Benoit Touquette taking over the winemaking in 2016.
