Score 16/20 · Drink 2023-2024, Jancis Robinson MW, Nov 2023
Bruno Giacosa was one of the first to make an Arneis in the 1960s and this is their flagship white wine made in its own winery on the Giacosa site in Neive. Roero produces especially perfumed Arneis thanks to the sandy soil. A wine to drink in its first three or four years. Very perfumed and then pretty tight and tense on the finish. Lightly bitter on the end. Crystal clear. (JR)
