Tasting notes
The 2018 Bourgogne Pinot Noir offers black cherries, raspberry and light floral notes on the nose, which is quite pure in style and finely delineated. The harmonious palate is underpinned by fine tannins and vivid red fruit on a finish so approachable that you could drink it directly from any one of its used barrels.

Bursting with notes of plums, sweet berry fruit and flowers, the 2018 Bourgogne Pinot Noir is medium to full-bodied, succulent and lively, with fine tannins, a fleshy core and an attractively sapid finish. This is dependably one of the region's best generic Bourgognes, and the 2018 rendition is no exception.
Vines located between the RN74 and Volnay vineyards – an especially good strip for Bourgogne, says Frédéric Lafarge. Barrel sample. Gently sweet red fruit on the nose, pretty red cherry, so succulent and sweet-fruited and with great freshness. A lovely balanced burgundy. Very fine tannins. Succulent, generous, lively, complete.
