2019 Hermitage

100% Marsanne. Subtle smoke, but less than Le Méal, with more oak slightly apparent. Balanced palate which feels quite tight at the moment, coiled and introverted but has effortless power and density of fruit also. The acidity is well judged and carries the wine with a sense of saltiness on the long finish. (AC)
