Hauts-Jarrons and Les Peuillets blended. 100% whole bunch. 20% new oak, which Nicolas Potel thinks is too much so he will fine it with egg white. Seductive and deep-fruited on the nose, deep cherry fruit. Dry and very finely textured on the palate, almost chalky. ‘Anguleux’, says Nicolas Potel. Needs polishing, he says. Powerful but needs time. (JH)
