Score 17.5/20 · Drink 2023-2033, Jancis Robinson MW, Jun 2023

Sangiovese planted 1998–2000 on soils of marine deposits and large stones that can look like Châteauneuf’s galets, at 320 m above sea level facing south-east. Pale. Quite transparent ruby. Transparent fruit somehow. Very 21st century. Lots of dry savour and some attractively leafy note on the end. High acidity. Very unlike most people’s idea of Chianti Classico. (JR)
