2020 Gevrey Chambertin Les Cazetiers

The Cazetiers is an excellent rendition from Remoissenet in 2020 and a highlight of our tasting here. The wine has very fine tannins matched by fantastic concentration. There is great density to the wine that fills the palate. Despite the breadth, the tannins are seamless and the fruit has a mouthwatering, glycerol-like richness. The spectrum of fruit here is distinctly black – black cherry and blackberry – but true to the style of the vintage, it’s both ripe and very fresh.
