RS 4 g/l. Very dry, especially after the sweetness of the Wieninger Preussen 2005. Very mineral with a sour citrus freshness. Lovely line and excellent length. Pure and so tight and long, very youthful. Mouthwatering on the finish even though it is honeyed in flavour. (JH)

(from tank) Heiligenstein-typical in its aromatic florality and also marked by scents and flavors of lime zest, sage, Bosc pear and dried peach. Dense, almost chalky in its palate expression of minerality. For now, at least, this lacks quite the juiciness and expressiveness and the complete integration of residual sugar of the Gaisberg. 1 star.
