Smoky and spicy with plentiful red fruit and very bright acidic line. Loads of freshness here, although there’s a bit of rubbery character too, and the alcohol seems a little warm on the finish. Pumped up Pinot. (RH)

Pinot Noir – blend of all the vineyards he works with. Spicy nose with some please-all sweetness but not the purity of a great Pinot Noir. (JR)
