2015 Montagny

Today we are thrilled to offer the last few remaining cases of Maison Leroy’s Montagny 2015, which we will be offering on a first come, first served basis. The wines from Leroy represent the epitome of fine Burgundy and whose Domaine wines have become some of the most collectible and expensive wines in the market. The Maison wines from Leroy offer an insight into the experience and skills of Madame Lalou Bize Leroy, whilst remaining relatively affordable when sourced direct from the domaine. These last few cases come direct from the domaine and offer perfect provenance from a true living legend of Burgundy. Bright, straw-coloured with a hint of gold. Very attractive, with dry-extract visible in the glass. Hints of nuts, lemon, guava – good concentration, whilst maintaining impressive freshness across the palate.Citric, but very nicely rounded, with fleshy mouthfeel, lots of weight for the appellation and again, that wonderful lemony freshness. A value pick from this year’s collection. Lovely floral finish. Delicious.
