Tasting notes
The 2015 Saint-Aubin 1er Cru Clos de la Chatenière is showing well, unwinding in the glass with notes of pear, clear honey, white flowers, telltale toasted bread and wet stones. Medium to full-bodied, layered and racy, with terrific cut and concentration, its vibrant, mineral profile belies stereotypes of this misunderstood vintage.

The 2015 Saint-Aubin Clos de la Chatenière 1er Cru has a lemon zest and loam-scented nose. Quite ripe and generous. The palate is balanced with good acidity, quite fresh with hints of peach and nectarine on the finish. Delightful, though not intellectual.
