Closed but ultra-pure red cherry fruit. Tight, tart leafiness on the palate. Too dense too release much fragrance at present, but brimming with potential. (RH)

Light in colour. Scented like all these Georges Lignier wines. Very slightly reductive on the nose but not excessively so. Delicate, fine-boned, allowing that lovely red-fruit fragrance the freedom to escape the glass. Moreish, just slightly chewy but juicy and long and so fragrant. (JH)
