Score 15.5/20 · Drink 2015-2020, Jancis Robinson MW, Sep 2013
The vineyard whose wine is sold under both Pitray and Parsac names is planted with 70% Merlot and 30% Cabernet Franc. Mild and well evolved even if a tad pinched on the end. Definitely chewy. But very correct for the money. For classicists who value austerity. It's rare to find an oaked, ageworthy wine at this price. (JR)
