Mid crimson and sweet and simple on the nose. Solid and inexpressive but more oomph than most Listracs. Inky tannins. Very tough on the finish. Ambitious but possible too much press wine or over-extraction? Shame because the raw materials seem relatively impressive. Overworked. (JR)

Fourcas Dupre
This estate saw a transformation when Guy Pagès bought it in 1970. His work, driving quality higher with increasing attention to detail and passion, has been continued by his son Patrice, who took over in 1985.
