Score 17/20 · Drink 2007-2016, Richard Hemming MW, jancisrobinson.com, Feb 2014
69.2% Cabernet Sauvignon, 9% Merlot, 8.2% Cabernet Franc, 1.1% Tannat, 2.2% Malbec, 4.3% Pinot Noir, 3.2% Syrah, 2.8% rare varieties. TA 3.35 g/l (sulphuric) , pH 3.47. Pure, succulent red cherry and bramble fruits. Soft tannins and light body – but the flavour is persistent and compelling. Just not quite as lengthy as you’d really wish. (RH)
